The Australian Institute of Building (AIB) is the largest professional association in the Asia-Pacific region for building and construction managers. AIB's members include the project managers, construction directors and general managers / chief executives who are responsible for the on-time and on-budget completion of building and construction projects. As affective advocate in the policy debate, AIB also hosts the Construct conference, publishes the Construct magazine and the Australasian Journal of Construction Economics & Building in addition to other initiatives designed to support the career development of building and construction professionals.

AIB is a member of the Australian Construction Industry Forum (ACIF), the National Building & Surveying Alliance (NBSA), NatSpec, the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and supports the Australian Building & Construction Higher Education Round Table (ABC-HERT) and the International Council of Construction Managers (ICCM).
